Planning Granted for conversion of old school to 6 family houses in South Brent

Planning Permission Approved – New Affordable Homes in South Brent

Dartmoor National Park has granted planning permission for a new affordable housing scheme in South Brent. The scheme will provide 6 new houses on former council-owned land at Avondale House and is being developed in partnership with South Devon Rural Housing Association.

The new homes will be offered to local people with a housing need to rent at 80% of local market rents.

The average house price in the village of South Brent is in the region of £220,000, this means many local people on average salaries are priced out of the housing market.

Households who wish to be considered for a vacancy need to register on Devon Home Choice  www.devonhomechoice.com
