South Devon Rural Housing Secures ?3 million loan facility

To enable South Devon Rural Housing Association to grow and develop more affordable housing, it requires substantial capital resources. In this difficult financial environment in which we find ourselves, it is hard to generate new finance at the margins and rates once enjoyed by Housing Associations.  However, the Association has been successful in securing £3 million in loans from Triodos Bank.  We are delighted to be borrowing from Triodos Bank who have a reputation for supporting ethical, eclogical, cooperative and community organisations like South Devon Rural Housing Association.  On the news of SDR's sortlisted nomination as Best Small Housing Association, in this years UK Housing Awards - Triodos made the following statement: 'Triodos is delighted to be supporting SDRHA and believe that this nomination recoginses thier innovative and sustainable approach to housing in South Devon'.
